Frolicking in the autumn leaves, this little lion cub is having the time of her life as she excitedly plays in her enclosure.
Tiny cub Karis proved she’s not too dissimilar to human children as she threw herself into the pile of golden leaves carefully collected by her keepers, even ending up with a pile on her head.
Staff at the Blair Drummond Safari Park, near Stirling, Scotland, had been raking up the leaves to keep the attraction tidy, when Karis’s keeper Brian Reid realised that his little charge might enjoy playing in them and moved the pile into her enclosure.
Fandom, for the uninitiated, is an audience subculture, often dismissed as the nerds/geeks who get lost in the fantasy of a book, game, tv series or movie. I’m proud to count myself as one; submitting to the siren song of a well told story can be soothing, intoxicating, and ridiculously satisfying
Thus proving Orlando Jones is simply the best dude ever.

I am in love with this. It’s really rare to see an actual smile in these kinds of pictures because it took so long to take the picture, it was easier to hold a stoic expression. Plus, people at that time had the mindset of “stoic noble savages.” I think this is legit the first olde timey photo that wasn’t a family photo that I’ve seen of an NDN smiling like this.
