Is this going to be the smallest boat of smallest boats? Could we add in the rest of the queer community too? Like, all LGBTQ rainbow related adoptees report?!

well I’ve just noticed that a really high percentage of adoptees seem to be gender dissonant in someway. It’s something I’ve been thinking about in relation to my own gender issues

Really? I’ve had the opposite experience in my contact with adult adoptees so far. Everyone is like married, cis, het and has three+ babies. And I kinda like tilt sideways and go “Uhm…..I’ll be over here in the corner.” But on tumblr I’ve found at least 5 of us. :D

yeah, i’m with Wings on this, all the other adoptees I know are like that— except for the adoptees I’ve found on Tumblr. and the tumblr adoptees are like gold to me, let me tell you.

My adopted family took in 3 other kids, for a total of 7. Everyone of them is a straight, cis Republican.

Then there’s me.

I’m not “gender-dissonant”, though. Yikes. It’s just another piece of misinformation on my birth certificate as far as I’m concerned.

Man, they got a lot wrong.

Any of you fine class bastards international and transracial? Gender is parsed extremely differently once adoption industry claws beyond the pale of First World(tm) boundaries (BIG SURPRISE RIGHT :P )

Us foreign-born bastards of color get much more targeted, but anyone who’s adopted is fair game as far as the industry and its complex are concerned
